How to Save an eBay Search to Radar for Alerts

Turn a RareAlert live eBay search into a monitored Radar search, understand the confirmation step, and keep manual saved searches separate.

Try it in RareAlert

Open Search eBay to apply these techniques to live collector listings. Some filters act on the results already loaded; starting a new search makes a new eBay request.

Build a precise Search eBay query first

Search eBay with a meaningful phrase and choose relevant required or excluded keywords, price, category, listing type, condition, and grading filters. Review the visible matches before creating ongoing monitoring.

Choose Save to Radar

The Save to Radar action is different from Save Search. It is for signed-in RareAlert accounts and prepares an account-level saved search rather than storing only a browser preset.

Review the confirmation

Give the search a useful name and review its settings and whether it should be active for monitoring. Confirm only when it is the search you want Radar to scan. Avoid creating overlapping monitored searches unnecessarily.

Manage scanning and notification preferences in Radar

After saving, manage the monitored search in Radar. Scanning cadence and email alerts follow the account’s Radar settings; they are not controlled by the local Saved Searches list on the Search eBay page.

Use local Save Search when you do not need alerts

For searches you only want to revisit manually, choose Save Search instead. It works without creating an account and does not schedule recurring scans.

Keep search results and estimates in perspective

Live Search displays eBay result estimates and a limited number of examined listings. Filters can narrow the listings currently loaded; estimated totals are not a promise that all results meet every title keyword or grading requirement.
